Printed on every invoice (PDF download and Email to Customer) and used as the sender name on technician dispatch texts. Saved here, it applies for your whole team on any device.

Status Colors

The color each status uses on the Monthly Calendar, the Day Timeline and the Dispatch board, for your whole team. Blocks are drawn as a soft tint of the color so text stays readable. "Reset" goes back to your industry template's default.

Google Analytics

Paste the Measurement ID of your own Google Analytics 4 property (Admin > Data streams > your stream). RunSheets then sends anonymous usage to it while your team is signed in: which screens get used, how often, on which devices, and key actions like creating tickets. No customer details, names or notes are ever sent. Leave it blank to turn it off.

Industry Template

Changes how RunSheets labels things — Tickets, Dispatch, Technicians, Customers — and which nav items show up, to fit a different kind of business. Saved here, it applies for your whole team on any device — it only changes labels shown on screen; your data and Google Sheet columns are unchanged either way.

Custom Ticket Labels & Workflow Vocabulary

Rename any of these to match your own shop's terminology — this only changes what's PRINTED on screen for your whole team; nothing about how statuses work, or what's stored in the Google Sheet, changes. Leave a field blank to use the built-in default shown as its placeholder.

My Layout Templates

Your own personal defaults for this screen — which view you land on after logging in, Tickets grid vs. board, and light/dark theme — saved to your account so they follow you across devices. Different from Industry Template, which relabels the app for your whole team: a layout template only ever changes how things look for you, never what data anyone can see or do.

Looking to show/hide or reorder individual Dashboard tiles instead? That's a separate, per-tile control on the Dashboard itself — .

Team Layout Templates (Admin/Staff)

Every layout template anyone on your team has saved, including private ones. Deprecate one to stop offering it as a new pick (it keeps working for anyone already using it); delete removes it outright.

Color Theme

A curated palette layered on top of your Light/Dark mode choice — recolors buttons, status badges, borders, and charts without changing any layout. Includes a High Contrast option and palettes tuned for Deuteranopia, Protanopia, and Tritanopia color blindness. Saved to your account, like My Layout Templates, so it follows you across devices.

Live Location Sharing

Opt in to show a small bubble with your avatar, name, and a "Pinged Xm ago" timestamp at your last-known location on the Map view, so dispatch can see where the team actually is. Off by default. Turning this on asks your browser for location permission — nothing is shared until you approve that prompt, and turning it back off here stops new pings immediately (your last-known point simply stops updating and drops off the map).

Notifications & Logging

Turn background email alerts and diagnostic logging on or off. Everything below defaults to on, except the items marked Off by default — flipping one off only stops that one thing; nothing else changes.

Add, remove, or turn individual people on/off for the alert above — no Sheet editing needed.

Sends a real email/text to everyone above using a made-up emergency call, clearly marked as a test — no ticket is created and the on-call technician is never paged. Use this any time to confirm alerts actually reach everyone.

Push Notifications (This Device)

Enabling this sends real-time system notifications straight to THIS browser/device whenever it's your turn to hear about an Emergency or After-Hours ticket — no tab needs to be open. Each teammate enables it on their own device(s); it's separate from the master toggle in Notifications & Logging, which controls whether the feature sends at all.

Checking this device…

Sends a made-up emergency alert through both push channels right now (bypassing the toggle above) so you can confirm this device, and any configured webhook, actually receive it.

Scheduled Reports

A daily (7:00 AM) and/or weekly (Monday 6:00 AM) email summarizing SLA performance, ticket throughput, labor logged, and overdue invoices for the window. Add as many recipients as you like.

Recipients

Sends a real Daily-window report to the recipients above right now, clearly marked TEST — use this to confirm delivery before relying on the schedule.

Module & Feature Management

Turn whole modules on or off for your team — hides the matching sidebar item (and its related buttons) for everyone the instant you save. Nothing is deleted; flipping a module back on brings everything — nav item, data, history — back exactly as it was. Every sidebar item can be hidden this way except Tickets and Settings, which always stay visible so there's always a way to get around and back in here to turn things back on.

Live Chat Widget

Paste this snippet into your own website's HTML, just before </body>, to add the chat bubble. Conversations show up under "Live Chats" in the sidebar.

Custom Tenant Email Sending

By default, invoices and job-update emails send from this app's own address. Route them through your own domain instead, either as a verified Google "Send mail as" alias, or your own SMTP server. Leave set to "Default" to change nothing.

Sending Mode
Send-As Email Address

This address must ALREADY be a verified "Send mail as" alias under this app's Google account (Gmail → Settings → Accounts → "Send mail as") — a one-time manual step in Gmail itself; saving this field alone doesn't set that up.

Audit Log Retention

How long an event stays on the searchable Audit Log tab (Audit Log sidebar item / a ticket's Activity section) before it's archived off to keep the underlying Google Sheet fast. Archived rows aren't deleted -- see the Audit Log dashboard's own description for details -- they're just no longer part of the fast/searchable window. A daily background job applies whatever you pick here; it can take up to 24 hours to take effect on rows that just aged past the old window.

Team Chat Retention

How long a message stays in Team Chat's fast, real-time window (what every device polls and what "Load Older Messages" can page back through) before it's archived off the underlying Google Sheet. Archived messages aren't deleted -- they're moved to a separate TeamMessagesArchive tab -- they're just no longer part of the live channel. A daily background job applies whatever you pick here; it can take up to 24 hours to take effect on messages that just aged past the old window.

Active Sessions

Standard tenant users only ever see their own company's logins here -- there's no view from inside RunSheets into any other tenant's account. A session drops off "Active Now" a few minutes after its last activity, even if nobody explicitly logged out (closed laptop, crashed tab).
